Veteran singer D'banj excited commuters as he boarded the bus and train, blending in with the crowd in Lagos.
The musician wowed his audience with fresh songs from the release of his latest project, 'The Entertainer.'
D'banj's excursion, which coincided with the first anniversary of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) Blue Line, demonstrated the city's increasing infrastructure and his eagerness to engage with his fans uniquely.
As he proceeded from the Leventis bus stop to the Marina train station and subsequently to the National Theatre station, he was greeted with joy and adoration by fellow passengers.
In a beautiful act of charity, D'banj offered to cover the transportation costs of everyone who rode with him, crediting their Cowry Cards with the fee.
A video showed him dancing with an elderly woman while other passengers sang a song from his new album.
Jubril Gawat, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu's senior special assistant, also shared images from the event, writing: “@iamdbanj entertained Lagos commuters today, Wednesday inside BRT buses at Marina and #LagosBlueLineRail on the Marina – Mile 2 routes.
"He did a lot of giveaways and kept everyone gingered with music from his new album, The Entertainer D’Sequel.
"He was warmly received by officials of @lamataonline and the surprised commuters who tried to get pictures and videos with him.”
