Custodian Investment Plc has announced the date it expects shareholders' names to appear in its books in August.

The company reported that it would be paying an interim dividend of 15 kobo each for shares worth up to N50,000, subject to appropriate withholding tax, to shareholders whose names appear as members in its register before the close of business activities on August 16, 2024.

The company said the 'Register of Members' book would be closed from August 19, 2024 to August 23, 2024, and the shareholders whose names appear on the register before the said deadline would be paid electronically.

The company's MD and CEO, Mr. Wole Oshin, recently purchased an additional 19,531,250 shares of Custodian Investments in four tranches at slightly different prices, leading to a surge in the daily trading volume of the company's shares.

Custodian Investment posted a pre-tax profit of N7.1 billion in the second quarter of 2024.
