The Supreme Court's decision upholding the usability of old naira notes has been praised by the Center for the Promotion of Private Enterprise, or CPPE.
For the benefit of the general populace, CPPE encouraged President Muhammadu Buhari and the Central Bank of Nigeria to abide by the Supreme Court's ruling.
The CBN has failed to implement its Naira redesign policy, claims CPPE.
The entire endeavour, according to Yusuf, is pointless and insensitive.
He claimed that the CBN and Buhari owed the Nigerian people an apology for the way the strategy was implemented.
“Hopefully, President Buhari, the Central Bank Governor, and the Attorney General of the federation would comply with this court order in the interest of the rule of law, good order, and public interest”.
