CKAY Launches Record Label, Boyfriend Music

Nigerian afrobeats star, Chukwuka Ekweani known as CKAY has launched his record label in partnership with his friend.

A dynamic new music management and publishing firm, 'Boyfriend Music Ltd.', is thrilled to announce its official launch in Lagos, Nigeria.

Sharing the news on his social media page the singer hinted that In addition to its operations in Nigeria, Boyfriend Music Ltd expanded its support worldwide by establishing Boyfriend Music LLC., an American subsidiary.

He stated that the company's mission is to assist musicians, composers, and producers in obtaining their due royalties and to offer A&R services so they can fully realize their creative potential.

CKay and Joseph Salubi are both childhood friends who were both born and raised in Kaduna, Nigeria. 

Ckay said: “We are committed to creating a formidable and transparent environment where artists, songwriters, and producers can focus on their creativity while we handle the complexities of management and music publishing.
