The newly appointed 39 members of the Election Petition Tribunal will be inaugurated by Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), on Thursday, May 25, in Abuja.
The Supreme Court of Nigeria Complex's main hall will serve as the location for the tribunal members' swearing-in.
According to a statement made by the court's director of information and press, Dr. Festus Akande, the CJN will conduct the ceremony by 11 am.
The newly appointed members will work alongside those who were already appointed to hear petitions resulting from the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) handling of the general elections in 2023.
