The headquarters of Christ Embassy Church in Ikeja, Lagos State, suffered a devastating fire that destroyed property worth millions of Naira.
The fire, which started around 9 am during the Sunday religious service, continued to rage, disrupting activities in the area.
The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service arrived at the scene to contain the fire, while the police cordoned off the area to maintain order.
Director of the firefighters, Margret Adeseye, confirmed the inferno and stated that efforts were being made to prevent further spread to neighboring properties in the Oregon axis of the state.
