Chief Of Air Staff Visits Naf Injured Pilots

The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar paid a visit to the injured pilots in Port Harcourt subsequent to the crash of a Nigerian Air Force MI-35P war helicopter on Friday, December 1, 2023. Abubakar cheers the personnel of 115 special operations group to channel their energies towards disrupting the activities of economic saboteurs and combating oil theft and not focus on the setback caused by the crash. He relayed to them the greetings and appreciation of the president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu with the assurance of their welfare and other needs for effective execution of their responsibilities. He admonished them to stay focused on their goals as they seek for an upgraded safety measure and strategies to tackle the insecurity issues facing the country, Nigeria. Director of NAF public relations department, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, while quoting the CAS, said that directives have been released for a swift investigation process to uncover the truths behind the case and avert any future occurrences. The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) visited the five crew members of the unfortunate aircraft and instructed the Medical Centre Commander to ensure they received the highest level of attention needed.
