Chidimma Adetshina gives reason for deleting X account

Miss Universe Nigeria Chidimma Adetshina has disclosed that she deleted her X account because of negative comments that were affecting her mental well-being.

Chidimma disclosed in an interview with Arise TV, noting that she was greatly impacted by Internet comments on her mental health.

The 23-year-old model deleted her social media presence after receiving negative comments during her time as a Miss South Africa contestant.

Adetshina clarified that she was reading unfavorable remarks for an extended period, which was detrimental to her well-being.

“I had to delete it because I felt like it was too much for me. I’m a comment reader so I read every comment; that’s the thing. So for me, I could spend 80% of my day reading comments.

”I’d read the comments and all and it became toxic for me. I use Instagram but I did limit my comment section one time,” Adetshina explained.
