An upcoming artist named Boyposy has openly criticized well-known comedian Carter Efe for allegedly taking N3 million from him to promote a song.
Boyposy posted this on his X handle and said that Carter Efe had not lived up to his half of the bargain, even after paying a significant amount of N3 million for song promotion.
Boyposy claims that he and Carter Efe started their arrangement in February and that N500,000 was paid up front, with N2.5 million more needed to finish the deal.
Boyposy's song was expected to be finished and released the following week, at which point the promotion was supposed to start.
According to Boyposy, Carter Efe failed to promote the song as promised, even though he paid his debts and delivered the record on time.
The song was released and submitted to Carter Efe a month ago, but the skitmaker supposedly declined to continue promoting it after that.
Carter Efe allegedly provided screenshots uploaded by Boyposy to support his decision, saying that Boyposy's song did not live up to his standards and that he had other content on his website to prioritise.
According to reports, Carter Efe implied that Boyposy wasn't happy with the first song and recommended that he provide him another "sweet" tune for promotion.
This response reportedly led Boyposy to demand a refund for the failed promotion service.
