Grammy Award winner and Afrobeats singer Burna Boy has addressed the misunderstanding surrounding the release of his much-anticipated eighth studio album.
The artiste first claimed that the album would be released at midnight, leading many to believe it would be accessible on July 30.
On July 29, Burna Boy announced on social media, "Album dropping by midnight," which surprised and disappointed fans when the album did not arrive as planned.
In a follow-up post on X (previously Twitter) on Sunday, Burna Boy stressed that he never mentioned a precise release date, only a time.
He emphasized that the announcement should be "a valuable lesson in paying attention to detail."
“Ladies and gentlemen, a valuable lesson on paying attention to detail. I said midnight, I never said what date. No be say I whine una o Na una Lose guard,” Burna Boy wrote.
