Burna Boy becomes the most-charted Nigerian musician in US Billboard history

Nigerian musician Damini Ogulu, often known as Burna Boy, has surpassed Tems to become the Nigerian artist with the most entries on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

This milestone was reached after Coldplay's single "We Pray," featuring Burna Boy, Little Simz, Elyanna, and Tini Stoessel, debuted at No. 87 this week.

Burna Boy now has six Billboard Hot 100 chart entries, breaking the tie with Tems, who has five.

This astounding performance puts Burna Boy ahead of Wizkid, the first Nigerian musician to appear on the chart, with four entries.

Other renowned Nigerian performers, including Rema, CKay, Fireboy, Davido, and Lojay, each had one entry on the coveted chart.

Burna Boy is currently one song away from breaking the record set by South African rock band Seether for the most Billboard Hot 100 chart entries by an African artist.

Furthermore, Nigerian music musician Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, has become the first African artist to sell out the legendary London Stadium twice.

The stadium, which has a capacity of 60,000 to 80,000 people depending on the event, was nearly full of excited fans ready to see Burna Boy's thrilling performance.
