Popular comedian Ayo Makun, better known by his stage name AY, has refuted Julius Agwu's statements regarding their friendship and how it ended.
In a recent interview with Naija Info FM, Agwu described how he contacted AY when he found out that the comic was preparing a show the same day that he typically performs his comedy show, only for the performer to hang up on him.
“Laugh for Christ sake was every Easter Sunday before AY began to do promo saying he was doing one show. I called AY telling him that day is my day, he cut the call on my neck,” he said.
In a different video that has been going viral on social media, Agwu stylishly blamed AY for his health problems, saying that it was only after their argument that he began to experience seizures, which eventually led to his brain surgery.
In response to the serious accusations, AY pointed out that the truth continues to have the sole ability to negate all lies in a location where the internet never forgets.
In response to Julius Agwu, AY questioned how it was conceivable given the following information to assert that he had taken over Agwu's Easter Sunday date. He published images to support his opposing arguments.
"It was on one of these occasions that you invited my wife and I to your birthday party and, in the presence of Okey Bakasi and other significant business figures, apologized for all the false charges made over the years.
"Here we are again in 2023 with this defamatory video, which will not be tolerated. I will file a lawsuit against you for persistently attempting to tarnish my name if this keeps happening without any evidence to back up your accusations that I bewitched you, he added.
