"And I'm using this opportunity to urge Imo State's Muslims to take advantage of the sacred month of Ramadan to pray for a peaceful election for governor of Imo on November 11, 2023, as well as for Uzodimma's reelection.
"I appreciate Governor Uzodimma letting me work for my community. I'll see to it that the positive effects of Uzodimma's sound leadership are felt by everyone in the northerners of the 19 northern states of Nigeria. I will also see to it that northern governors designate Igbo Affairs Aides so we can work together to address our business challenges."
He congratulated the newly elected APC Governors, Senators, Members of the House of Representatives, and State Houses of Assembly, particularly the 27 members of the Imo House of Assembly. He also greeted the newly elected President, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his Vice President, Kashim Shettima.
"Look at the Oweri-Okigwe, Oweri-Orlu, and Oweri-Umuahia Roads. Imo State now has an excellent road system, which we can be proud of. I think Uzodimma will stay in the government for her full eight years," he stated.
