Asake Releases Third Album 'Lungu Boy'

Popular Afrobeat star, Asake released his third album 'Lungu Boy' on August 9, 2024.

The album features various superstars, including Grammy-winning Nigerian sensation Wizkid, British rappers Central Cee and Stormzy, American superstar Travis Scott, and Brazilian vocalist Ludmila.

It follows a series of features by Asake, who teamed with Zlatan, Ayra Starr, Victony, Tems, and Central Cee.

Asake's 2024 releases include 'Only Me', 'Wave', and 'Active', which feature Central Cee and Travis Scott.

The record is released ahead of Asake's next 'Lungu Boy' tour, which will include dates at the legendary O2 Arena, which he previously headlined in 2023, and the iconic Madison Square Garden, making him only the fourth Nigerian musician to headline the arena.

Asake's 'Lungu Boy' is his third in three years in a breathless run of hits for the era-defining superstar.
