The Action Peoples Party has asked the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal to dismiss its lawsuit against Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the incoming president.
Obed Agu, the attorney for the APP, is also pleading with the court to dismiss and throw out the lawsuit contesting Tinubu's victory on the 25th of February presidential election.
Wole Olanipekun, SAN, the attorney for Tinubu, did not object to the withdrawal.
Later, the plea was denied by Justice Haruna Tsammani, the Tribunal's chairman.
Remember that the tribunal in Abuja started meeting on Monday.
