American singer-songwriter, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner's divorce has been finalized following a painful year-long fight.
According to legal documents acquired by TMZ, the couple just struck a divorce agreement after a judge signed off on the documents.
The agreements are confidential, although Sophie, 28, and Joe, 35, previously attempted to reach an agreement on child custody and asset split through mediation.
Sophie and Joe married in 2019 and have two kids, Willa, four, and Delphine, two.
After months of rumors about a split, Joe filed for divorce from Sophie in September 2023.
Sophie requested in March to reactivate their divorce procedures, which had been put on hold while the couple attended to mediation. However, after the two were unable to reach an agreement, Sophie asked a judge to break the marriage and determine who would have custody of their girls through a court-ordered settlement.
According to court filings, the custody arrangement gave each parent two weeks at a time with their daughters until January 2024 and enabled the girls to travel back and forth between the US and the United Kingdom.
