Karim Benzema, the forward for Al Ittihad and the current Ballon d'Or winner, has reportedly complained about his relationship with coach Nuno Espirito Santo and his general dissatisfaction with the club. Al-Ittihad, however, has refuted his claims and stood by their coach, claiming they are pleased with his efforts and results.
The Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad has denied reports that Karim Benzema will be leaving soon after joining them from Real Madrid, just two months ago.
Following rumours that Benzema would be departing the club barely two months after signing, Al Ittihad not only dismissed the rumors but also posted a brief footage of the Frenchman smiling in one of the club's facilities to back up their say.

Nuno has previously made it known to the Al-Ittihad board that he does not approve of their pursuit of Benzema since the former Real Madrid captain does not suit Nuno's preferred playing style.
So, what exactly is the tension about?
As reported by
Rocketparrot, indeed there is a tension between Al Ittihad manager, Nuno Espirito Santo and the club's new forward, Karim Benzema. This is, however because the manager
denied Benzema the captain band.

The Portuguese manager had denied Benzema the captaincy after he had asked for it, instead giving it to Benzema's teammates Romarinho and subsequently Ahmed Sharahili.
After Nuno made it plain that the former Real Madrid striker does not match his style of play, tensions rose between Benzema and the coach, leading to a fuss among the Al-Ittihad side.
