Dr. Ejezie Emeka Rollas (MON), President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), has announced that the suspension on film producer Adanma Luke has been lifted.
The announcement was made in a statement issued by the guild’s scribe, Abubakar Yakubu.
The statement also noted that the AGN President has also lifted the ban on filming in riverine areas but reminded members to adhere strictly to the safety standards outlined in the AGN bylaws.
Recall that Luke is the producer of the upcoming movie in which the late actor Junior Pope was supposed to feature but tragically died in a boat accident.
However, AGN, The Association of Movie Producers (AMP) announced the immediate suspension of Adanma Luke in April.
Adanma was advised to suspend all work, “pending the submission of the investigations report and the final decision is taken.”
AMP also sympathised with the families of those who lost their lives as a result of the boat mishap.
