African Voice has commenced its activities in Nigeria after functioning in the United Kingdom for 23 years.
The newspaper, which represents the perspectives of ethnic minorities in Britain, has started its Nigerian operations by distributing in Lagos and Abuja.
According to a statement by the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of African Voice newspaper, Mike Abiola, mentioned that the publication has been advocating for the ethnic minority communities in the UK.
“With Nigeria at a critical junction in its economic development, the new operations of the newspaper in Nigeria hope to serve as a bridge between Nigeria and those in the diaspora, as well as encourage the promotion of trade and investment between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.”
Abiola added that expanding into Nigeria was to bridge the gap between Nigeria and those in the Diaspora.
“The African Voice newspaper is the leading voice for the black ethnic community in the UK,” he stated.
