Actress and media personality Stephanie Coker Aderinokun has shared her story of battling PCOS and IVF.
She disclosed that she nearly took her own life following the failure of her second IVF (in vitro fertilization) in an interview with Chude Jideonwo.
She claimed that last year, she drove to Los Angeles for an IVF procedure that went wrong and that she had paid more than $40,000. She went on to say that she felt rejected by the kid and called her friend to find out more about the child following the unsuccessful IVF attempt.
She revealed that she was diagnosed with PCOS, which causes her to bleed so much that she had to be taken to the hospital after fainting last year, and that IVF was her only option. She claimed that at one point, she was confined to a wheelchair.
The veteran disclosed that in the same year, her husband's elections, which were held under considerable public scrutiny, were unsuccessful.
This isn’t the first time, Stephanie is speaking out on her battle with IVF. In 2020, a year after welcoming her first child, she revealed that she and her husband did IVF to get their child and narrated the procedures she underwent.
