Nollywood actress and director, Mary Nkoku has lectured Nigerian religious women on the benefits of in vitro fertilization (IVF).
She reiterated that IVF is not bad and should be accepted as a solution based on God's wisdom.
Njoku chastised individuals who disregard IVF's success while viewing the results as a divine wonder, emphasizing that IVF and C-sections are miracles in and of themselves, blessing countless families.
She encouraged women to share their honest experiences rather than using religion to prevent others from pursuing similar therapies.
She said: “Dear Nigerian religious women! There is nothing wrong with IVF. God created us with the wisdom to find solutions to our challenges. Feel free to include IVF in your testimonies, so that God can use your story to inspire and bless other families as well.
Testimony is not mandatory! If you no fit tell us true story, rest abeg. Make God no vex for you.
“Saying IVF failed you but God gave you a miracle is absurd. IVF is a miracle! C-sections are a miracle! God has blessed countless families through them. If it didn’t work for you, it might work for someone else.
Stop using religion to discourage others from receiving their blessing. Miracles can come in different forms. ‘Hebrew Women'.”
