Eventually, they accepted ₦2.84 million and instructed the family to deliver it on a Saturday night. Channels TV reports that the ransom was delivered by the victim's brother-in-law and another individual using a motorcycle. After receiving the ransom, Mistura Olasinde and her daughters were released. Mistura Olasinde and her daughters sustained injuries during the abduction.
