American rapper, 50 Cent has spoken out on Sean Diddy's latest allegations of sex trafficking and rape.
In a recent interview with People, 50 Cent shared his thoughts on the subject, claiming that he has been speaking out against such behavior for years.
When asked about his view on the charges, 50 Cent stated that he has always kept a distance from such actions since they do not reflect his principles.
He clarified that his views are not intended to be controversial, but rather to reflect his long-held opinions.
50 Cent said: “Look, it seems like I’m doing some extremely outrageous things, but I have not. It’s really me just saying what I have been saying for 10 years.
“Now it’s becoming more full-facing in the news with Diddy’s stuff, but away from that. I’m like, Yo, it is just my perspective because I stayed away from that stuff the entire time, because it is not my style.”
The dispute between 50 Cent and Diddy extends back to the 1990s, when 50 Cent released a diss track called "The Bomb," accusing Diddy of participation in the 1997 death of Biggie Smalls.
Recall that Sean 'Diddy' Combs, a US rapper, was arrested in New York a few weeks ago.
The arrest came after a grand jury indictment, with Combs' lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, expressing dissatisfaction and criticism of the US Attorney's Office for pursuing what he deems an unjust case.
Agnifilo emphasized Sean Combs' voluntary assistance with the inquiry and his plan to fly to New York in advance of the allegations.
Agnifilo stated that Combs looks forward to clearing his name in court, maintaining that his actions demonstrate those of an innocent individual.
He said: “We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
“Sean Combs is a music icon, a loving family man, self-made entrepreneur and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire and working to uplift the Black community…”
