This decision comes after the 39-year-old received a red card during the Saudi Super Cup match against Al-Hilal.

According to Essentially Sports, despite Al-Nassr's appeal, Ronaldo's suspension was upheld, rendering the Portuguese superstar unavailable for the upcoming league games.

Manager Luis Castro has chosen Al-Nemer as Ronaldo's replacement, according to reports from Essentially Sports.

Ronaldo was sent off during Al-Nassr's 1-2 defeat against Al-Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup semifinal.

The incident occurred when he allegedly struck defender Ali Al-Bulayhi with his elbow during a brief altercation between the two players.
